Medicare requires all eligible beneficiaries to have some form of creditable drug coverage. To avoid late enrollment penalties, it's recommended that you enroll in a Part D plan once you are eligible.
To qualify for Medicare Part D, you must be enroled in Original Medicare, Parts A and/or B. You must be a resident in the network of the plan you wish to enroll in.
Open enrollment is from October 15 to December 7 for Medicare Part D & Medicare Advantage plans.
